Ruthie has been working on her behavior chart and she decided that she wanted to get a Ruthie doll for her reward. For every night she stayed in her room and didn't get out of her bed ALL night (except for the bathroom of course) she received a sticker! We were experiencing a late night visitor in our bed for a while and it turned into a habit. When there are three in the bed there is no sleep for anyone! This in turn was causing her to be rather grumpy. Not to mention my grumpiness! Along her chart she earned ice cream as well!
We went to the local grocery store that carries American Girl books and little dolls and she picked out her Ruthie. She was so excited to have her doll! Anything to encourage the girl behavior as well as the boy. We like to be well rounded.
Best part of the day for me had to be when we were walking through the store and Lulu puts her arm around Ruthie and says.... "Ruthie, I am so happy you got your Ruthie doll!" Not a jealous bone. I wanted to turn around and get her a doll. Perhaps we can work this into getting rid of the Paci!
